AncillaryVariables.datum(*index)

Return an element of the data array of each field as a standard Python scalar.

fl.datum(*index) is equivalent to cf.List(f.datum(*index) for f in fl).

Return :

out : cf.FieldList

For each field, the requested element of the data array.
